Verzatek.org is a static informational site. It does not operate user accounts, logins, or e-commerce functions. The site does not collect or store personal data on its servers beyond what your browser transmits in standard HTTP requests (IP address, browser type, referring page).
If you submit the contact form, the form data is processed locally in your browser (JavaScript simulation). No data from the form is transmitted to a server or stored anywhere.
2. Cookies and Local Storage
This site uses browser localStorage to remember your response to the cookie consent banner (accepted or rejected). No tracking cookies are set. No advertising or analytics cookies are used on this site.
3. Third-Party Content
Images displayed on this site are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). When your browser loads these images, Wikimedia's servers receive your IP address. Wikimedia's own privacy policy applies to those requests.
Google Fonts are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com. Google's privacy policy applies to that request.
4. Analytics
This site does not use Google Analytics, Matomo, or any other visitor analytics service.
5. External Links
Articles may contain links to external websites (NRCan, ASHRAE, Standards Council of Canada, etc.). Verzatek is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
6. Children
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from minors.
